Saturday @ the Barn!

We spent the weekend with Gramma & Aunt Emmy - wowsa did we have fun! On Saturday morning we went out to the barn because Reese has been asking to ride a horse. About the only person I would put her on a horse with is her very accomplished Aunt Emmy. If you could've seen the delight on Reese's face - it was the sweetest thing. She kept saying "go faster" - she definitely comes by that honestly!

I kept thinking how happy it would have made my dad to see Emmy & Reese in the saddle together. It really would have brought him so much joy. I'm sorry, for all of them, that he won't get those moments but I praise God that we (here on earth) get to participate in the joy. I even hopped in the saddle; it's been a long time but it still felt good.

The barn was full of babies - a donkey, pot bellied pig, chicks, cows, goat. Reese was fearless as she held and/or petted any and everything. I'm so proud of that spirit and have her Papa to thank for it. Enjoy the pictures!
