The Farm & a Big Fire!

We are still in TN enjoying the changing of the leaves, friends & family. Yesterday, Reese, Teresa & I headed to Blowing Rock (gorgeous drive) to meet Gram Thomas and Aunt Emily for a little shopping and a much needed visit. Gram looks great and Emily is as beautiful as ever. Emily's friend Heather was with us and she is such a great friend to Emily. She is quickly becoming a part of the family all the way around!

We shopped til we dropped and froze our fingers off (45 degrees on the mountain). We headed home to change clothes, bundle up and head out to the farm. Juddy, Jarrod and Grand Larry along with several groups of friends spent all day on the farm riding motorcycles and doing whatever guys do on the farm.

When we arrived the "bon fire" was enormous! This so called "bon fire" turned out in reality to be a big burn pile from all the clearing work they've been doing. There were lots of friends and family and of course the pups were running around in true crazy pup fashion (As a side note, Bentley & Louie LOVE the farm. They chase cows, roll around in things that I shouldn't mention and enjoy the acres upon acres of open play space.). And of course, we roasted marshmellows for S'mores!
